PUBLIC AWARENESS CAMPAIGN | Launching New State Agency for Early Childhood

The more you know,
the better they grow.

The goal of this statewide, bilingual, marketing campaign was to announce the formation of the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood, a resource for information, service, and education. Target audiences of the campaign included families of young children, providers in the early childhood community and other early childhood stakeholders.

Campaign tactics:

  • Website
  • Social media marketing – on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube
  • Traditional advertising – radio, video in English and Spanish, print, urban transit and outdoor
  • Digital advertising – on websites, mobile news and music apps
  • Publicity/public relations – interviews, feature articles, events

OUTCOMES

Over a period of six months, the campaign attracted 3.5 million viewers and 7600 visits to the new website. The website continues to serve as the connection to services and information for anyone caring for young children.
